We are seeking a Director of Structures to join our multi-disciplinary practice in Cambridge.
We have recently relocated to a newly-built City Centre building, a short 2 minute walk from Cambridge train station. This move, aside from giving us a high-quality premises, will help further facilitate our growth by offering greater profile to our clients, and strong links to teams at surrounding Stantec offices, particularly in London.
You'll be building upon our existing portfolio of clients in and around Cambridge, developing new opportunities, and acting as a leader and technical expert for others within the Cambridge Structures team. You'll also be drawing upon the capability and networks of other disciplines within the Cambridge office to create opportunity for the Structures team and wider business. Internally you'll support the strategic direction of the business by mentoring and supporting those around you.
Existing areas of expertise for you to build upon include University/academic buildings, science parks, leisure, defence, and listed buildings, among others.
This is important role for the Cambridge office, and an exciting time to join us. This opportunity will allow you to drive the development of the Cambridge Structures team, coupled with an ongoing ambitious growth agenda for our wider Buildings group.
You'll be successful in developing new and maintaining existing client relationships within the Structural Engineering market. Degree-educated and Chartered, you will have proven experience of leading and managing diverse Structural engineering projects.
Most importantly, you'll have a desire to build and develop something bigger, playing a leading role in driving and develop the Structures team. We'll match your ambition in developing new clients and assisting with the growth of the Stantec Structures group in Cambridge.
