Stantec have growth plans for our business in the coming months and we are planning to add additional resources to our IT team during that period. We are interested in hearing from Desktop Support Analysts in the Bristol area that may be thinking of a move later this year. If we do not have an immediate role, we will keep in touch until we do, so either way we would love to hear from you.

On a daily basis, our desktop support team are involved in a wide variety of tasks to serve the needs of the business. A key function includes analysing and resolving end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues both desk-side and remotely supporting employees in offices across the South-West. Upon joining our team, your task will be to contribute to the resolution of operational problems by working collaboratively with your peers. To be successful in this role, your problem solving and customer facing skills will be important as you work with a wide variety of internal clients.
Typically we look for the following:-
- Experience in a Microsoft Windows environment including Windows server 2016/2019, Windows 7/10, MS Office Suite, Active Directory, Office 365.
- Current knowledge of PC hardware and the ability to set up, configure, and rebuild workstations.
- Excellent customer relationship, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN topology
- Strong customer service experience.
- Experience with a ticketing system is an advantage.
