Your Duties Stantec is currently seeking a civil engineer, with 0-2 years' experience, to join our Transportation Department in our Mount Laurel, NJ Office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects for clients within the public sector including NJDOT, NJTA, NJT and various counties. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals and help our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve design for various transportation projects ranging from the reconstruction of major highway interchanges to the rehabilitation of local roadways. Qualified candidates will be part of a team that will be responsible for the design of roadway improvements, drainage systems, utility relocations and the preparation of computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • 0-2 years' experience
  • Civil Engineering Degree from ABET accredited school
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
  • Working knowledge of MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is required
  • Previous internship and/or co-op experience is also preferred
