CAD/BIM Regional Lead

Our North American Operation is seeking qualified candidates for a CAD/BIM Regional Lead position with expertise in Revit and AECOsim/OPM applications to be based in the Sacramento, CA office.

The position requires experience with 3D/BIM design applications with an emphasis on Autodesk Revit and Bentley AECOsim/OPM applications. Experience with visualization, Navisworks, ProjectWise, and clash detection would be advantageous. The candidate should be experienced with structural, architectural, or process modeling systems that are associated with any or all of the following categories:
• Water and Wastewater Treatment and Conveyance
• Locks, Dams, Powerhouses and other Hydroelectric-related Structures
• Transportation facilities, airports, subways
• Petro/chemical process facilities

Primary responsibilities for this role will include oversight of a local or remote team of designers, project set-up and coordination, design production support including quality control and assurance, model review, content creation with functionality review, and extraction of BIM data for estimating. The candidate will have to collaborate with other technical professionals on project teams as well as possess strong computer CAD/BIM skills with the Autodesk and Bentley products noted above. The candidate shall possess strong writing and communication skills in the English language and shall work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in computer drafting and design.
• Minimum of eight years' experience as a professional Designer with a background in BIM and CAD production for engineering applications. Multidiscipline experience between structural, architectural, process mechanical, and civil infrastructure systems is considered a plus.
• Minimum 5 years with 3D design and a functional understanding of building information modeling (BIM).
• Experience working with Revit and/or similar software systems
