Your Duties Our Culture and Heritage Resources group has an opportunity for seasonal Archaeological Field Technicians/Labourers in our Hamilton, ON office. Under the direction of experienced archaeologists, the successful applicant(s) will assume responsibility for carrying out Stage 2-4 archaeological field work.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Qualified applicants must have past work experience with physically demanding outdoor labour.
  • Current undergraduate or graduate students in anthropology or archaeology are encouraged to apply, but not a requirement.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel within Ontario, with the potential for out-of-town/overnight work.
  • The ability to carry out strenuous field work is essential.
