Product Manager, Domains

Squarespace is seeking a Product Manager to define the future of Squarespace Domains. This is a high profile role working on a suite of products touching millions of people every day. You will be tasked with building the world’s best domain search experience and developing an ecosystem of related products, such as DNS, email, and SSL certificates.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving search and discovery problems, optimizing purchase flows, and conducting A/B tests. This person is well-versed in core internet infrastructure  such as DNS, natural language processing, and recommender systems. He or she must be highly self-directed, excited by questions that do not have obvious answers, extremely observant and insightful, deeply attentive to details, and motivated to continually iterate to build best-in-class products.


  • Drive product development—from conception to launch—of Squarespace Domains across all platforms (desktop, mobile) and manage the product roadmap
  • Define, prioritize, and communicate short and long term product goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers by conducting research, data analysis, customer interviews, and usability testing
  • Partner with experienced engineers and designers to create extraordinary products
  • Partner with marketing to launch new products
  • Partner with customer operations to develop world class support for our domain customers
  • Partner with strategy to establish business goals, monitor key operational and product metrics, and evaluate product success
  • Work collaboratively with other product managers to ensure consistency and compatibility across all Squarespace products


  • 4+ years of experience in product management or software engineering
  • Keen product intuition and UX design sensibilities, with a strong desire to discover and fulfill the needs of users
  • Technical background a plus
  • Strong balance of both analytical and creative thinking
  • Passionate about Internet policy and governance
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about domain names and Squarespace products
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships across distinct stakeholders
