The Opportunity
Springboard is a fast-growing startup, built by a team that is passionate about fixing education and bridging the skills gap. We’ve helped thousands of students learn skills like data science and UX design, using a unique approach that involves 1-on-1 mentorship from top industry experts. 

We’ve been creating world-class content to help young professionals better understand “new economy” careers. Examples include our guide to UX careers and our guide to data science careers. We want to ensure that every UX and data science enthusiast out there knows about us. You’ll be part of a team that constantly learns cutting-edge practices and distills them to people around the world.  

TL;DR Do you love data? Are you a good writer and researcher? If your answer to all these questions is yes, we have an opportunity for you. Get paid $100 USD per blog post on a large, well-resourced blog with tens of thousands of readers. You can work remotely. 

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Writing helpful content starts with building a deep understanding of the topics you cover. As a Data Science writer, you will learn a lot about data science as a career, distilling insights from your findings, concisely and with precision.
  • Writing great content: You will create valuable resources for our data science readers. You’ll co-author books, guides, blog posts, and other forms of content we create, and your voice will inspire tens of thousands of people to learn.

You:

  • are a diligent researcher who is genuinely curious about data science
  • are a quick learner who can go from research to sharing knowledge rapidly
  • enjoy writing, proofreading, and building great content, and have a track record / writing samples to show for it
  • are proactive and entrepreneurial, with little need for supervision
  • are resilient and resourceful, and not afraid of failure
  • ideally have some familiarity with how digital marketing and content work
  • ideally have a digital following of your own already

Monique Y.

Product Manager

Monique’s role is to improve the Springboard experience. She works closely with Engineering & Design to brainstorm ideas, map out product strategy, build prototypes, and test features before they go live. Fun fact—Monique was Springboard's first SF employee.

After graduating from Stanford, Paolo worked as a tech recruiter for five years. Inspired by Springboard’s commitment to humanizing online education, Paolo joined the team as a Mentor Relationship Manager.
