Senior UI Developer

Spokeo is looking for a front end web developer to build robust, UI/UX focused functionalities for our website. Collaborate with back end developers, product manager, and marketing to build web pages with cutting edge technologies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Building responsive, cross-browser compliant web pages using HTML5, CSS3 on a Ruby on Rails platform.
  • Keeping assets organized and optimized.
  • Triaging visual and cross-browser/device defects.


  • Strong design & UX experience.
  • Writes standards-compliant, cross-browser, cross-device code.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and development.
  • Knowledge of front-end performance issues & asset compression.
  • Experience using Git or other version tracking software.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Coffeescript.
  • Experience with a Javascript framework (angular.js, backbone.js, etc) a plus.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, or other MVC architectures is a plus.
  • Computer Science knowledge and/or a CS (or related) degree is a plus.
