Are you a motivated rising high school junior (class of 2024) in the Queens, NY area seeking a paid internship opportunity?
- Training is paid and a full-time commitment from July 11 through August 31, 2023 extending on a part-time basis through your final year of high school.
- Work Hours during training - 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM: Tuesday thru Saturday - 40 hours per week
- Days Off during training Sunday/Monday.
- Flexible Part- time work hours after August 31st (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM / Tuesday thru Friday and 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM on Saturday).
- Pay Rate: 18.50 per hour.

Video Repair Representatives use patience and effective communication skills to uncover customer needs, answer questions, and leave a positive impression on customer interactions.
What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum Intern, you'll learn and perform in a customer service capacity. It's about building relationships and turning the knowledge you gain in training into customer service wins. Video Repair Representatives make a real difference to customers and the company, providing over-the-phone video support and repair services that keep people connected. You'll have advanced diagnostic tools to help you address technical inquiries and get services running smoothly, talking customers through fixes you can make together. If an issue calls for extra attention, bring in additional internal support and field technicians to get things back on track. Understanding the products and your customers' sense of urgency will help you create a satisfying customer experience.

There's a lot to learn, and our thorough, fully paid training can make you an authority on Spectrum's industry-leading Video products and services in about a month. After that, you'll be ready to identify issues with customer-facing systems and troubleshoot like a pro. The industry moves quickly; to stay on top of it, we provide training updates to keep you current on our newest products, services, and upgrades so you'll be ready for any question that comes your way. One-on-one time with department leaders and additional support give you everything you need to create a streamlined process for your customers and yourself.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, and general intranet navigation
- Ability to work well in teams
- Current Junior in High School with expected graduation in 2024
- Enrolled in a relevant NYC Public High School in the Queens / Flushing area.
Satisfactory High School performance relative to attendance and grades
