As the Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee all mechanical design requirements, testing and verification for hardware product. Experience with drafting, dynamics, and stress analysis is required. This position reports to the Systems Engineering Integration & Test Program Manager and will be based on-site at our company HQ in Los Alamitos, CA.

Specific Duties:
- Responsible for "cradle to grave" mechanical design/development, verification & test
- Responsibilities include drafting, dynamics and stress analysis
- Heavy use of CAD SW tools
- Extensive hands-on test responsibility, both simulated and real-world; some travel (< 10%) required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Mechanical Engineering
- Expert proficiency with CA SW tools, preferably using SolidWorks, although experience with others (CreoView, ProE, Catia, etc.) is also acceptable
- Thorough understanding of and heavy experience with mechanical design best practices
- Good exposure to/experience with mechanical test and verification
- Automotive industry mechanical engineering experience strongly preferred
- Experience with environmental testing preferred
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required; advanced degree(s) preferredSpartan Radar is an
