Regional Account Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will elevate, manage and strategize the growth of SPANX wholesale and specialty accounts. Critical aspects of the role include exceptional cross-functional leadership, a strong aptitude to influence others, and grow sales strategically. Key attributes of the role require a broad perspective of the business opportunities and contagious passion for the SPANX brand.


  • Become the “expert” on your Accounts needs and develop a win/win relationship with our customers and home office

  • Lead the development of corporate sales to meet and exceed sales volume objectives for Wholesale Accounts and other notable growth opportunities regionally

  • Implement a monthly budget and sales plan: launching and directing sales activities, merchandising execution and overall communication

  • Accountability to optimize margin initiatives, spend effectively and ROI

  • Implement a plan to gain space in store and improve market presence

  • Provide regular sales leadership and commination to corporate partners at Headquarters

  • Interface with all strategic departments within the Spanx headquarters.

  • Act as the tactical liaison between headquarters and Accounts

  • Become the resource for Marketing and Merchandising to plan successful product launches within your territory

  • Support and reinforce the SPANX brand mission, vision and values.

  • Build relationships internally and externally as a trusted advisor and partner

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree

  • 6 + years of experience managing Key or National accounts

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to analyze data and market trends

  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat)

  • Outgoing personality and the ability to function as a team player and project leader

  • Drive for Results

Highly Desirable:

  • Demonstrated business acumen in a retail atmosphere

  • Keen at setting priorities, managing multiple tasks while remaining agile in a changing environment

  • Comfortable working remotely with a self-starter attitude

  • Basic understanding of the category, channel, customer strategy, and market trends

  • Negotiating skills to capitalize on opportunities in a “win-win” manner

  • Problem solving / Dealing with Ambiguity

  • Ability to provide internal communications to management and field as appropriate

  • Financial Acumen to manage trade promotions, spend effectiveness and ROI
