Resident Relations - Outreach Specialist

Southern Management's Summit Hills Community is looking for an experienced person to join their team as their Resident Relations - Outreach Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Market community through outreach, targeting all appropriate area businesses, associations and other places of employment
• Service the community by supporting vacancy reduction
• Organize, attend, and/or participate in special outreach events include marketing and related activities to assist in and promoting SMC and receiving leads
• Responsible for developing and implementing a daily schedule to include all outreach and marketing strategies (schedule will include evenings and weekend work as needed)
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with local, state, and federal agencies
• Work with local businesses and organizations to establish partnerships with SMC for current and future residents
• Maintain existing partnership by communicating with organizations on a regular basis and including them on relevant events
• Develop and implement an annual outreach plan that includes promotional strategies for current and future residents
• Travel locally to meet with community leaders, businesses and other organizations to promote and market SMC to employees
• Establish and achieve specific goals for reducing turnover rates including promoting longer lengths of residency
• Continue to develop and implement a proactive Annual Customer Service Plan
• Implement & maintain a new resident referral program
• Establish professional relationships with current residents to encourage referrals
• Assist with planning and attend Community Events
• Comply with all Fair Housing Laws
• Comply with all Southern Management's policies and procedures
• Support the community by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Property Managers and/or Supervisor

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a marketing or sales related position
• Bachelor's Degree in related course of study preferred
