Southern Management's Summit Hills Community is looking for an experienced business development professional to join their team as their Resident Relations - Outreach Specialist (marketing rep/outside sales).

The Outreach Specialist is a Brand Ambassador who creates opportunities by networking, finding and cultivating new business partnerships, maintaining current partnerships, and assists Summit Hills with vacancy reduction

Exciting things you would get to do:

  • Maintain existing partnerships by communicating with organizations on a regular basis and including them on relevant events
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with communities, businesses, associations, and government agencies to promote SMC, generate leads and identify opportunities for partnership that will benefit our current and future residents
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with current residents to encourage referrals and to promote continued long-term residency
  • Developing an annual outreach plan that includes creating promotional strategies for the community, B2B outreach and marketing strategies, promotion of new resident referral program and implementation of Annual Customer Service Plan
  • Conducting detailed research on potential exciting opportunities and connections for future partnerships, and using that research to produce viable sales leads and working relationships with outside companies

You bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in related course of study (preferred)
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a marketing or sales related position
  • Creative marketing and persuasive sales skills
  • Superior customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships
  • Knowledge of Microsoft® Office Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends

Extra awesome if you have:

  • Experience utilizing Social Media Platforms to create new partnerships
  • Knowledge of the Property Management Industry
  • Ability to think "outside the box" and create new and unique ideas for marketing efforts
