Job Description

Modified full-time (30-39 hours per week). Must be flexible to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing:

  • Cleaning guest rooms by category priority
  • Using correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
  • Transporting cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and linens to assigned guest room
  • Servicing assigned guest rooms
  • Updating status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet
  • Returning and restocking cart at end of shift
  • Reporting any damages or maintenance problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Acknowledging all guests and responding promptly to their needs, however busy and whatever time of day

What you will bring to the table:

  • 2 years demonstrated cleaning/housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Availability during peak operating times, ie: Weekends, Holidays and Special Events
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
  • Previous guest relations training
  • Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 75 pounds or more.
  • Push/pull carts or equipment up to 250 pounds.
  • Ability to reach above head and shoulder height to perform job duties.
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 or more hours in length.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compute basic arithmetic and mathematical calculations
  • Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and guest satisfaction

Benefit eligibility is dependent on Team Member Status and benefits differ depending on whether your status is full-time (40 hrs/week), modified full-time (30-39 hrs/week), or part-time (1-29 hrs/week). All benefits are subject to cancellation and/or change at any time.
