Hotel Accounting Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Manage department budget
  • Effectively manage the accounting team through respectful communication, clear expectations, relevant training, productive coaching, regular meetings, and appropriate performance management
  • Ensure guests have the best possible experience by trouble-shooting and resolving all billing-related disputes
  • Develop, implement and manage annual action plan and capital project list
  • Collaborative with other managers and teams to analyze and improve work processes
  • Develop and implement a disaster recovery system


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree in relevant field preferred
  • 3 years demonstrated accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality or food and beverage environment
  • 2 years demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Strong accounting software experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Technical knowledge/proficiency with Roommaster, Seriousware, Visual One, Delphi and Meeting Matrix preferred
