SoundHound is looking for a Director of Business Development who will interface directly with the VP of Business Development to (i) help manage a large pipeline of existing and potential partners and (ii) identify, develop and close new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. You will have the unique opportunity to join as an early member of a fast-growing and collaborative team currently working with hundreds of partners to structure, negotiate and manage all aspects of the deal process. You will play a critical role identifying new market opportunities, developing new business plans, managing the business development pipeline and driving increased revenue.
- Prior experience in Voice/AI space. Familiarity with competitors, customers, and our value proposition to effectively generate leads
- Domain experience and knowledge in the automotive, consumer electronics (CE) or Internet of Things (IoT) or related fields selling voice solutions directly to industry leaders
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Track record of increasing revenue through lead generation
- Some travel required
- Technical background a plus
- 5-10 years of proven experience
