Programmatic Sales Manager, Brand Partnerships

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Programmatic Sales Manager to complement SoundCloud’s blossoming Programmatic business.

 

The Programmatic Sales Manager will be a market-facing, revenue-focused contributor to the SoundCloud Programmatic Team. The ideal Sales Manager will have an extensive understanding of the Programmatic ecosystem. You will be able to speak the language, but also break down the definitions and be able to communicate and educate effectively with partners and the internal direct SoundCloud sales team.

Responsibilities 

  • Managing programmatic sales from pre to post sales conversations across all tiers - non-guaranteed PMPs and Programmatic Guaranteed
  • Cultivating new + accelerating existing client-brand partner relationships
  • Cross-functional collaboration with AdOps, Account Management + Brand Partnerships, Sales Solutions, Legal, Finance to provide brand partners with maximum value for an impactful holistic media strategy
  • Setting up relationships with agency trading desks, demand side platforms, and advertiser direct

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years digital programmatic media experience
  • Proficient in programmatic technology - SSP, DSP, ATD, DMP
  • Extensive understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and the multiple partners and vendors
  • Experience with managing towards and exceeding an individual sales goal
  • Background in and excited about yield management, both ad server side and SSP
  • Self-starting individual who works well collaborating amongst a global team
