THE ROLE

Support Head of Ireland in coordinating business getting in the region to identify business opportunities and to provide exemplary client service and administrative skills.

** 1 YEAR MATERNITY COVER**

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with client management and maintaining of all applicable client information on internal systems.
  • Organize valuation days/events, invitations and mail outs.
  • Support Irish Art Sales/Travelling exhibition including invite list compilation, sending e-vites and logistics around the event.
  • Assist with sale proposals, presentations, research and proofing when required.
  • Process formal valuations and liaise with specialists.
  • Monitor valuation platform.
  • Plan annual marketing and events schedule for review by Head of Ireland and maintain budgets with monthly updates
  • Arrange and book all adverts, liaising with design for the finished product well ahead of sweep days for approval by HOI.
  • Prepare Monthly newsletter
  • Work with Office Manager to support with invoicing, shipping, expenses when required.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent organizational people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with an enthusiasm to learn
  • Be motivated/confident/forward thinking and efficient, with a good eye for detail and ability to priorities tasks and to meet deadlines.
  • Be flexible on working hours when required to meet regular deadlines.
  • Proactive, strategic, and creative in approach.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Be computer literate (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Meticulous record keeper.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous administrative skills preferable with client, 3rd party (shipping, logistics) interaction
  • Knowledge of the art market but not essential
