Vice President of Marketing


Social Solutions is looking for a proven marketing executive to join their leadership team as the VP of Marketing. This role will report directly to the CEO and will own the end-to-end marketing experience and all disciplines involved in building a high-performing growth engine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market plan that results in substantial revenue growth for the organization
  • Guide the design of marketing campaigns, execution of nurture program to cultivate leads, creation of effective content marketing materials, and collaborative partnership with Sales to convert leads to bookings
  • Own and maintain the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Drive inbound lead generation and marketing sourced bookings
  • Directly work with and oversee a fast-growing 15-person marketing engine
  • Serve as the voice of the Social Solutions Marketing function cross-functionally, as well as to our external stakeholders and Board of Directors
  • Own all facets of the marketing team including:

  • Content
  • Demand Generation
  • Digital Strategies (paid, owned, etc)
  • Corporate Comms/Public Relations
  • Website and Brand
  • Business Development Reps
  • Product Marketing
  • Events
  • Annual User Conference

Skills & Requirements
  • Marketing leadership in a B2B SaaS company
  • Prior experience leading both inbound and outbound marketing tactics (including business development, tele-development, or lead development teams)
  • Ability to partner with sales and product to optimize the buyer journey
  • Strong planning and budgeting skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and ownership of projects, deliverables, and metrics
  • Track record of delivering results in a high-demand role
  • Previous experience leading brand-forward initiatives, including brand development, event management, and digital property strategies
  • Working knowledge of Marketo and SFDC
  • Experience optimizing team efficiency via tech-stack optimizations and the successful introduction of modern marketing tools
  • Proven leader with an enthusiasm for developing teams through a mix of coaching and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done side-by-side

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 15+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a B2B SaaS company
  • Prior experience representing a marketing team at both a company and Board-level with great success
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing strategies and techniques
  • Self-directed, organized, and disciplined team player capable of being hands on as well as delivering long-term strategies
  • Superior presentation, written, and verbal communications skills
