Customer Marketing Manager

Slack is looking for an experienced customer marketing manager to join our product marketing team and create programs that make Slack customers successful. In this role, your responsibilities will include customer reference programs, customer advisory boards, and customer marketing campaigns that give teams delightful resources to learn about Slack alongside ones that tell their stories. More than a million people around the world use Slack, so the ideal candidate for this role will have experience building a variety of programs that inspire potential customers and educate current ones.


  • Build and maintain customer engagement and advocacy programs, and continually recruit new customers to take part
  • Grow the list of up-to-date referenceable customers and their success stories
  • Produce customer stories that can be utilized across marketing, communications, and sales efforts
  • Develop customer lifecycle campaigns that help customers understand how to do more with Slack
  • Equip the sales and customer success teams with content they can use to help train and onboard customers


  • Experience implementing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and retention
  • Experience building customer marketing programs for B2B SaaS software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to successfully work cross-functionally with other teams
  • A passion for storytelling and shipping creative and effective marketing assets and content
  • A demonstrated track record of taking ideas from concept to execution
  • 5+ years of marketing experience
