Sales Manager, New Business

To further strengthen our expanding sales team, we are now looking for a Sales Manager, New Business to join our rapidly growing team! SiriusDecisions is looking for highly motivated team leader with proven records of consultative or solution based sales experience to contribute to our growing business. The compensation for this position includes base salary plus a variable bonus based on the team's production and includes attending “Winners Circle” for overachievement of quota and generous benefits. What you will be doing:

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training that continually improves the sales teams’ ability to solution sell

  • Play an active role in hiring, on-boarding, training and coaching Sales team members, seeking out opportunities to create a culture of learning and development

  • Design and implement strategies and processes that will enable the sales team to achieve greater results in their day to day roles

  • Lead the Sales team in developing new clients within the assigned territory.

  • Consult the sales team with Creating, writing and delivering value-based sales proposals to C-level decision makers

  • Collaborate with internal management and other sales team members in the sales cycle and provide ongoing feedback to other business verticals within SiriusDecisions

  • Build and continually develop an in depth understanding of SiriusDecisions products and services 

  • Represent SiriusDecisions in a professional and ethical manner to clients, prospects and colleagues

Desired skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3-5 year’s experience in a management role

  • 5+ years B2B consultative solutions selling  

  • Proven track record of driving new sales

  • Ability to direct and be a mentor on the sales ground by actively working to attain everyday sales objectives

  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation, negotiation and closing skills

  • A strong entrepreneurial nature and desire to support our rapidly growing business

  • Ability to prospect and acquire C-level relationships within medium and enterprise B2B organizations

  • Experience selling software products and solutions to marketing and sales C- level professionals strongly preferred
