SiriusDecisions is the world's leading source for business- to- business (b-to-b) sales and marketing best practice research and data. To further strengthen our expanding sales team, we are now looking for a motivated inside sales professional to join our new Business Development team in Wilton, CT. If you are smart, articulate, hardworking and goal oriented and want to have a direct impact on SiriusDecisions' success please read on.
You will be:
- Calling and emailing businesses nationally to drive new client acquisition from 10am to 7pm
- Contacting inbound sales leads
- Outbound calling to named lists to establish interest in SiriusDecisions
- Maintain and add contacts to our sales and customer database
- Working closely with Account Executives to generate leads
- Develop the sales skills and knowledge to become a productive account executive.
- Developing in depth knowledge of high performance sales, marketing and product development functions.
- Part of one of the fastest growing sales organizations in the research and advisory industry.
Desired Skills and Experience
- You have 2 + years work experience
- You are someone with at least a years experience in inside sales (telesales, telemarketing or inside customer service) and want to be part of a thriving, fun environment
- You are service oriented, curious, smart, articulate and want to continuously learn.
- You are an excellent communicator; able to think on your feet with professional phone skills
- You are an achiever. You are goal oriented. If you participated in competitive sports, school government or similar situations, we want to hear from you
- You possess ridiculously good listening skills
- You ask outstanding questions
- A completed bachelor's degree
