Sales Associate

SiriusDecisions is the world's leading source for business- to- business (b-to-b) sales and marketing best practice research and data. To further strengthen our expanding sales team, we are now looking for a motivated inside sales professional to join our new Business Development team in Wilton, CT.

You will be:

  • Calling and emailing businesses nationally to drive potential clients to our various events including Exchanges and Summits
  • Contacting inbound sales leads with events related interests
  • Outbound calling to named lists to establish interest in SiriusDecisions Summits, Exchanges and other events
  • Acquire new target contacts and maintain our existing prospect and customer database
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to generate leads
  • Develop the sales skills and knowledge to become a productive account executive
  • Developing in depth knowledge of high performance sales, marketing and product development functions
  • Part of one of the fastest growing sales organizations in the research and advisory industry

Desired skills and experience

  • You have 2 + years work experience
  • You are someone with at least a years experience in inside sales (telesales, telemarketing or inside customer service) and want to be part of a thriving, fun environment
  • You are service oriented, curious, smart, articulate and want to continuously learn
  • You are an excellent communicator; able to think on your feet with professional phone skills
  • You are an achiever. You are goal oriented. If you participated in competitive sports, school government or similar situations, we want to hear from you
  • You possess ridiculously good listening skills
  • You ask outstanding questions
  • A completed bachelor's degree
