Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a Sales and Pricing Analyst for our Corporate offices. In this role, you will get to use your analytical skills to make a major contribution in supporting growth and profitability objectives. You will work closely with the Sr. Director, Yield and Inventory Management to evaluate client accounts and to price small and large scale new business opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the setting of rate cards and placing inventory to maximize revenue and returns
  • Analyze the popularity of TV programs by show across the country and determine inventory levels for other markets
  • Work closely ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and other networks, local TV stations, and national sales on identifying opportunities for revenue development
  • Analyze inventory across all revenue streams and research on appropriate revenue pricing
  • Determine pricing needs on these networks across the country for advertising rates
  • Internal consultant to Sales leaders at stations for pricing options
  • Partner with Sinclair's Engineering, Legal, News, Operations, Sales, and other departments when needed.
  • Communicate and research ad inventory forecasting, rate card pricing and packaging strategies with Sales Management for all audience product opportunities including Digital, Internet, Mobile, and OTT
  • Analyze the impact of market trends, compare stations with high CPM and low CPM and identify areas of opportunity for price adjustments and other revenue innovations
  • Evaluate sales data and provide recommendations
  • The ability to make recommendations for pricing inventory
Required Experience:
  • Experience with data warehouses and CRM is a plus
  • Critical analytical thinking
  • Understanding of pricing and sales planning economics
  • Travel, hotel, airlines, health insurance, and other rate discount negotiations experience is a plus
  • A bachelors degree in any business discipline and 2 years of related experience, sales experience is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint and Excel
  • High intermediate & Advanced Excel skills are preferred
