WGTU, ABC 29 & 8 has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, evening news anchor and producer. You will be required to produce daily content on a variety of platforms, including the internet and social networks. In addition, you will perform other duties, as assigned by the news managers.


  • Able to make content decisions on an everyday basis
  • Exemplary communication skills
  • Must be a strong writer
  • Sharp wit
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to write, edit, and produce your own newscasts


  • Previous experience working in a team environment are a must
  • You must have one year of on-air experience
