WTVC is looking for an Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) for its lifestyle program The Daily Refresh. Your responsibilities as a lifestyle MMJ will include shooting and editing feature segments, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts and working with clients, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.
Skills and Experience:
- Creative storytelling
- Excellent technical skills with camera and editing software
- The ability to work well independently
- Experience working with clients and sales teams in a production environment is preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
- A minimum of 2 years reporting experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with camera work in the field, not just studio work
- Experience with iNews or other production software
