KTUL-Tulsa's Channel 8 is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivate Integrated Marketing Consultant! We are looking for someone to focus on driving revenue by selling multi-platform solutions with an emphasis on digital media solutions coupled with the strength of broadcast television to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, be fearless when making cold calls and excel at setting appointments and closing sales. Responsibilities will include:
- Generate revenue for the station and meet monthly goals through effective outside sales techniques, inclusive of making outside sales calls, prospecting and lead generation.
- Conduct in-depth client needs analyses to understand clients' business objectives and advertising strategies and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising.
- Create and present customized sales presentations/proposals and successfully close negotiations.
- Sell digital advertising and marketing solutions based on client's needs, from among our product suite that includes CTV/OTT, SEM, Social Media, Geofencing, KTUL.com/Apps, and much more.
- Sell television campaigns, along with digital, as opportunities arise.
- Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objective through effective advertising.
- Document all client contact and file all advertisement documentation.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Initiate, follow-up and conclude assignments accurately and independently.
- Assist in the collection of past due accounts.
- Digital knowledge preferred.
- Marketing and advertising knowledge preferred.
- Strong oral, problem solving, communications, writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competitive, persuasive, energetic, and self-motivated traits.
- Ability to overcome objections.
- Enjoy a fast paced environment with a desire to win.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Professional appearance a must.
- Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and your own vehicle.
