We're looking for an experienced, temporary Digital Content Producer to contribute to the top-rated local TV news site in the market. The Digital Content Producer is primarily responsible for publishing daily news and breaking news content to the station's website, as well as copy editing staff stories and managing the look of each of our pages. The Digital Content Producer also helps manage our social media platforms and is responsible for working closely with newscast producers to identify opportunities for viewers to consume KATU content across all of our screens. Expertise with digital content management systems, digital metrics tools, and social management tools is required.

Required Skills:

  • Fluent with digital content management systems
  • Fluent with social media platforms and social management tools, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Storify
  • Fluent with digital metrics tools including Omniture, Chartbeat, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter metrics tools
  • 2 year experience required
