Do you love television? Do you like coming up with ideas, pitching them to clients and seeing the final result come to fruition? Then you may be great for a career in Television Production. WXLV/WMYV, in Winston-Salem, NC, has a great internship opportunity available in our Commercial Production Department. This internship is for current college juniors, seniors, or grad students to learn side by side with some of the very best in the business. Interns will work on a variety of field and studio production projects to air on our ABC45 and MY48 television stations. Tasks may include shooting, lighting, editing, audio recording, script-writing and other related office tasks. If you enjoy interacting with clients and being creative this may be the internship for you.
- Must be attending an accredited college or university. Graduate students are also eligible
- Each intern is required to work 10 - 20 hours a week
- Must have reliable transportation
This is a non-paid internship. Internship time at WXLV/WMYV must be coordinated with the student's respective college or university for academic credit under the sponsorship of the educational faculty. If contacted you will also be required to submit two (2) work samples such as writing projects, audio or video demo reels (these can be graded class assignments or published work).
