As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you'll be responsible for contributing to the growth and improvement of our operations.

What you'll do
  • Ensure adequate production fixturing and tooling is available, in good operating condition and being properly used.
  • Support the design, development and continuous improvement of production processes.
  • Propose and implement improvements to manufacturing tooling, equipment and fixturing, to continually reduce manufacturing costs while improving quality by increased error proofing and process capability.
  • Address daily production challenges to ensure timely completion of production schedules, while prioritizing issues in need of permanent improvement activities.
  • Ensure adequate process documentation to cause consistent quality and throughput.
Your qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • An ability to objectively review processes and utilize operator input and data to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of plant layout and process flow.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems.
  • A desire to learn and make an impact in the growth of our organization
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; AutoCad experience a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Pay range for this role is $19-$31/hour
