In 2019 we communicated externally the launch of a new range of Trulifi systems that includes the world's fastest and most reliable Trulifi systems commercially available. The range, branded Trulifi, leverages existing and future professional luminaires. Trulifi uses light waves to enable highly reliable, secure two-way wireless communications at speeds far above most conventional workplace wireless technologies.

What you'll be doing...

You will lead to accelerate the ventures performance from the sales & marketing team creating new business opportunities in a given segment. You are the ambassador for the venture towards specific Market segment and key customers.

By educating market, you will expand the ecosystem of Lifi technology, generate new deals and future alliances to realize our growth. Together with the team of product managers in the segment, you we will build new propositions and go-to-markets to make our impact even bigger. And you will lead an integral and crucial future direction of Signify!

Activities and responsibilities

  • Develop global business plan and implement relevant go to market strategies to drive sales growth and market share.
  • You are expected to build a segment addressable market of beyond 200Me within 2 years, aiming to capture minimum 10% over the same period
  • You will build a micro team of segment specialist account manager(s). You will expand Signify offering to maximize market value in Defense and Public segment.
  • Leverage relation with specific Signify market organizations to get fast absorption of the solution Government/Public.
  • Drive segment strategy, build partnerships with ecosystem players, define end to end value chain and expand the addressable market
  • Represent Signify TruLifi leadership at events, sales meetings and customer visits globally.
  • Initiate, setup and support local campaigns/events to generate business
  • Responsible for pricing on deal level to realize optimal value creation
  • Give Input to and work with Product Management and Design teams for new product roadmaps
  • Co-develop new propositions and digital sales channels in Professional and OEM channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with the local/regional Signify market organization, and external delivery partners.

We are looking for an Industry insider with min 20 years of executive sales experience in defense and public sector. Deep understanding of partner network and proprietary technology adoption in the given segment
  • Dynamic and eager to win individual
  • Great team player and self-propelling
  • Ability to create new business through innovation
  • Thrives on working in highly dynamic and uncertain environments
  • Can translate high tech possibilities into understandable benefits for the right customer
  • Understands the sales cycle at corporate customers and the eco system around them
  • 7+ years of experience in a commercial organization, preferably in new business environment, sales and marketing
  • Preferably experience in startup and/or IT/telco/high tech environments
  • Bachelor/University degree preferably in Business administration / business economics / marketing
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and/or German and/or French preferred
