As a co-op you'll be responsible for assisting in system level testing of LED lamps. Tasks will include electrical, thermal and optical testing. You will also create reports to summarize the results of your test(s). Students will be able to assist in analyzing and solving customer related issues or inquiries. Students will have an excellent opportunity to learn about lighting and systems and how Philips LED lamps is going to revolutionize the lighting industry.

What you'll do
  • System testing with power analyzers, oscilloscopes.
  • Performing thermal testing using thermocouples and data loggers.
  • Performing optical tests.
  • Developing and executing test procedures.
  • Searching for electronic components and contacting vendors.
Your qualifications
  • Actively pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Major in Electrical engineering, in sophomore, junior, or senior grade level.
  • Student should have some experience with electrical testing with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital meters.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship need
