As a Communication Intern, you'll be supporting all communication related activities for the Digital organization for both the Digital organization as well as in Signify.

What you'll do
- Team up with your peers in the CDIO (Chief Digital Information Officer) Office Management Team, who are responsible for Digital Strategy, PMO (Project Management Office), Agile/LEAN Change Management, Risk and Compliance Coordination, Digital Excellence, and Supplier Governance.
- Supports building communications plans across multiple disciplines to effectively achieve goals.
- Consults and advises Signify Digital Leaders, Program & Project managers in translating communication objectives into a communication plan, specifying required deliverables and projects, and ensuring alignment to the overall Signify Digital strategy.
- Responsible for the realization of communication activities for all new or changing IT related services/initiatives as part of the communication plan.
- Maintains and uses the network of communications entities within Digital Signify to create extra possibilities to communicate with all stakeholders.
- Support the internal communications within the Digital organization to inform and engage Digital employees about the Digital Strategy, Digital projects etc. and supporting Digital Leadership Team with Hoshin, preparing Signify Leadership presentations and meetings.
- Supporting the creation of content and presentation on Signify channels (Newsletters, Portal, P-cast, Yammer, and SharePoint) within the guidelines, to maximize the use of social media and communication channels.
- Is a team player who builds a network in the organization to sense communication needs, to collect interesting news topics and inspire people to contribute to the various communication channels.
- Innovates communication through experimentation with new concepts, technologies, and channels.
- Aligns communication for Digital with Signify Corporate Communications.
- Studying a bachelor's or master's degree on Communications/ Marketing/ Business and Management/ Journalism.
- Exceptional writing skills in English.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. Candidates should be able to create and deliver effective messaging across various communication channels and have the ability to translate complex technical IT related topics into simple and engaging messages.
- Interpersonal skills: As a communication specialist, you'll be working with different teams and stakeholders, so it's important to have strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively.
- Proactive and self-motivated with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Relevant experience in communication, marketing, graphic design, video editing or related fields in an international environment is a plus.
- Internship allowance; the exact amount depends on your situation (also towards rented accommodation or public transportation)

Notes
- EU/EER students: In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation of this may be requested at any time.
- Non-EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to have a letter from the university in which it states that your internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals are and what tasks you will undertake during your internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
- Non-EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be a compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get the official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
