As part of our team, you will be working on Simcenter FLOEFD, a software that integrates CFD within CAD software. This integration allows for simulation to be performed early in the design process, enabling concurrent design and reducing overall design times.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a C++ Software Development Engineer. As a member of a global, multi-site development team, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Utilize your expertise and passion in C++ Software Development to maintain and enhance the solver component of Simcenter FLOEFD.
- Implement requests from product management and internal initiatives.
- Apply best practices in software development to create high-quality, object-oriented software using the C++ programming language.
- Analyse and implement software refactoring to adapt to future-oriented, user-centric technologies.
- Maintain and update integrations with 3rd party components and products.
- Bug fixing.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Relevant experience in C++17 development as part of a team, building commercial software.
- Experience in developing complex applications using modern design patterns and principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
In addition, preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Familiarity with parallelization techniques such as Intel TBB and OpenMP.
- Experience in template metaprogramming, STL, and boost.
- Experience with CAD software such as NX, CREO, SolidWorks, or CATIA V5.
- Experience with GIT version control.
- Experience in Linux development.
