We have an opportunityfor a highly motivated Software Engineer to work in the Questa Simulator and Verification R&D group in the Design, Verification & Test (DVT) Division. You willbe part of a high-performing R&D team responsible for designing anddeveloping high performance, enhanced capacity & functional enhancements tothe Questa verification products involving simulation and synthesis.
In this role you will work on the implementation of compilers involving Hardware Description Languages(HDL) likeSystemVerilog and VHDL. You will also work on advanced static and Formal verification techniques. If you enjoy working on these, this is a positionto consider. You will be working on cutting edge software that helps design themost advanced digital and analog electronics impacting our personal useelectronics, space exploration, wireless networking, airline and carautomation. You will be working with an advanced engineering team based in thebeautiful Pacific Northwest with possible options for working remote or from other Siemens locations.
The successful candidatewill possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field is required.
- 7+ years of experience in C/C++ programming on Linux or Windows development platform.
- Good understanding of C data-structures and algorithms are essential. Job will require working on large scale software development using industry standard software development and source code management tools.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Compiler development, scripting languages, hardware design and verification understanding or any other complex software development experience would be considered a plus.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
