We at Siemens Advanta Slovakia develop systemsfor intelligent buildings. We create monitoring and management systems that increasesecurity and protect property, improve comfort for building occupants,streamline overall operations and reduce energy consumption.

Weare looking for a senior Java developer for a project aimed at developing a newgeneration of a fire safety system. You will be working in a Scrum (SAFe) teamwhich closely collaborates with teams in Switzerland, USA and China on aproduct which protects lives and assets. Our goal is to implement highlyscalable distributed system which will be used across the world.

In this role you will be responsible for:
• Analysis, design and implementation using Java
• Documenting your design and code
• Implementation of unit tests for your code
• Coaching of junior team members

We expect:
• 5+ years of programming in Java SE
• Expertise in object oriented analysis, design and implementation
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Experience with system architecture (framework) development
• Knowledge of UML
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good knowledge of English

Nice to have skills:
• SWT/Jface
• JS frameworks (Angular 2 or higher)
• Java for Embedded Systems
• German

Salary from 2200 EUR brutto/month + variable bonus
The salary depends on the experience and seniority of the candidate and is thesubject of a partnership agreement during the selection process.
