JobTitle: ProjectManager - Medical Imaging Equipment Installations

JobLocation: Victoria/Corpus Christi

(Position is field-based and offers company car, also for private use)

TheSolutions Implementation team is responsible for overseeing logistics,planning, delivery and installation activities for imaging equipment across allmodalities (i.e. MR, CT, X-Ray) within Siemens Healthineers. This includesplanning for Radiographic, Fluoroscopy, Cardiology, Angiography, ComputerizedTomography, Magnetic Resonance, Therapy, Nuclear Medicine and PET Systems. TheProject Manager is reporting to the Zone VP of Project Management and Operationsand is responsible for fostering and maintaining high level relationships inkey accounts, and for driving revenue by working with customer stakeholders todevelop project pre-construction plans, estimates, and schedules.

Onsiteresponsibilities include monitoring construction progress, coordinating withstakeholders (facilities, architects, mechanical, electrical and structuralengineers, etc.), solving and coordinating construction issues and managingdelivery and installation activities according to a schedule establishedmutually with the customer. Maintains full project involvement until completionof all Siemens activities including Applications and follow up Service. Serves as primary point of contact for problem resolution for fullduration of the project.

Seekinga motivated, enthusiastic Installation Project Management professional thatpossesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a strongworking knowledge of the construction industry. Must be awell-organized problem solver with the ability to work autonomously in afield-based position with little direct oversight.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job specific tasks - Siemens Healthcare Project Manager (not all inclusive):

• Managemultiple projects in support of ground-up new hospital or research facilities.

• Developand implement detailed solutions for complex project challenges by working withadvanced stakeholders and SMEs.

• SupportRFP process for installation related topics.

• Attendpresale meetings with AEs and support the sales relationship with customers asrequired

• Visitproject sites to secure measurements, produce cost estimates, review quotes andkey project success factors such as electrical and construction requirementswith customers

• Consultwith customers to optimize equipment layouts and clinical workflow toincorporate into drawings and project plans

• Communicatecustomer specifications to planners to develop preliminary and final drawingssite specific CAD drawings

• Communicateproject information, status updates, schedule and scope changes to internal andexternal stakeholders; i.e customer, customer's architect, engineer,contractor, administration, Siemens Sales and Service partners, etc.

• Assist indevelopment, coordination, and finalization of project schedules for systemproduction, delivery, installation and applications.

• RegularlyCommunicate project schedule, risks and other pertinent issues to internal andexternal stakeholders

• Performregular site visits and monitor progress of site preparation to ensure that alltasks are being completed on schedule in order to meet assigned projectcompletion dates that impact Siemens profitability.

• Maintainaccurate and appropriate data in the appropriate data systems and ProjectManagement tools

• Coordinateand adjust schedules as necessary to minimize unexpected cost increases, tomaintain costs, and/or to improve overall profitability to Siemens-whilemaintaining customer satisfaction

• Handleand respond to customer questions, complaints, and problems to maintain highlevels of customer satisfaction throughout the project

• Completemandatory Siemens forms/checklists required at specific project milestones

• Conduct/assistin training of other Project Managers, participate in Advisory Boards, taskforce activities, special projects, etc.

• FollowSiemens and customer policies such as safety, regulatory, dresscodes/appearance and business conduct

• Followall Siemens quality control protocols and escalation policies in projectcommunications

• Maintainoptimum communication practices-respond to daily telephone, email, and writtenmessages in a timely manner

• Managetravel and office expenses to control costs. Maintain Siemens assets(telephones, cars, tools, etc) to ensure longevity and avoid breakdowns

• Attain/MaintainPMP credential as required for position advancement

• Travel50%

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor'sdegree or combination of education and experience

• A minimumof 3-4 years of complex project management experience; managing multipleprojects simultaneously specific to construction in healthcare environments

• Experiencein dealing with executive-level management and clinicians within a diversecustomer organization

• Must haveability to read blueprint drawings

• Extensiveexperience at successfully managing matrix project teams, third party vendorsand working within a large corporate structure

• Knowledgeof the construction industry (electrical, plumbing, structural, HVAC)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

CADknowledge

Outstandingwritten and verbal communication skills

Familiaritywith Siemens capital medical imaging equipment

Previouslyor currently licensed tradesman desirable

PMPCertification desired
