Position Overview

The Procurement Category Manager is a key contributor to the serviceability of Siemens's customer owned vehicles by securing ongoing supply of direct materials required throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. This position is in the Mobility CS Department which provides long term maintenance, repairs and aftermarket parts for Siemens Light Rail, Passenger Locomotives and Passenger Coaches throughout North America. This position is located in McClellan, CA. This role will report into the Strategic Procurement Manager for Mobility, Customer Service Business U.S.

• Sourcing - Supplier selection and eEvents

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum 5 years of successful experience in, and related to, the Strategic Sourcing or Category/ Commodity Management
