Dept. Introduction

Our global operating team with locations in Germany and Czech Republic now wants to take the next step and support our factories in China. Therefore, we need highly motivated people on site. Diversity is our biggest strength. The team consists of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Developers, Software Architects, an UX-Designer, Business Analysts and Project Managers. Our goal is to help our factories worldwide to accelerate their digital transformation by using best practices from all over the world or develop totally new and individual concepts. Following this approach, we closely cooperate with colleagues from the domain and local IT departments to create a sustainable collaboration.   • Driving digitalization in manufacturing processes on the road to Industry 4.0
  • Working in a cross-functional, global organization
  • Data collection from various sources, normalizing and cleaning
  • Executing ETL
  • Data integration in terms of building infrastructure and architecture
  • Identify potentials for digital improvements in the shopfloor (Process Analytics)
  • Realize those potentials in order to improve productivity, quality and delivery performance

Who we are looking for?

Education:
  • Master's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or any other technology related field
  • An equivalent of the same in working experience is also accepted for the position

Required experience:
  • 3 years of working experience in a similar position within industrial manufacturing
  • Experience with data platforms, warehouse systems, data integration tools like Talend, Spark, Hive
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL or Java
  • Experience working in Python/R and ideally Knime
  • Experience working on cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Alibaba or Azure)
  • Experience in creating and integrating DWH- and Big Data-Systems

Other Competence need:
  • You're aware that you only win and lose as a team
  • Taking over responsibility does not scare you off
  • You're able to work self-organized and still meet your targets
  • You have a high interest in understanding manufacturing processes, IoT, future trends and digital business models
  • English on the communication level
