The MechanicalInstallation Service Technician is a critical member of our nationalinstallation team; this is a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily mechanicallyinstalls Siemens imaging equipment at our customer sites. Our ISEs representthe "Face of Siemens" to the customer.

The InstallationService Technician reports to the Director, Customer Supply Chain of CT atSiemens-Healthineers.

Responsibilities

Mechanicalinstallation of CT and MI equipment at customer site; provide expert levelinstallation support to field service organization; communicate and escalatetechnical issues and delays; keep installation projects on schedule; assurequality; evaluate room layout and installation quality of our mechanicalinstall vendors; Install in accordance with factory instructions andspecifications; troubleshoot technical problems and repair out of box failuresand shipping damage; order missing or damaged parts; provide feedback tovendors, factory, project management and planning..

Candidate shouldlive near a major airport.

Responsibilities:

• Performs complex equipmentinstallation and repairs.

• Maintains tools & partsinventory, schedules maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc., and completesdocuments required of all installations.

• Interfaces with customerpersonnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation andresolution.

• Successfully demonstratesthorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area.

• Generally, 4-5 years ofsuccessful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration ofKey Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Technical training ordegree, associates or higher; minimum of 4+ years of experience or equivalentcombination of education and experience.

• CT or MI ExperiencePreferred

• Ability to travel overnight100% of the time.

• End of the Quarter workrequires "All-Hands-On-Deck" attitude to achieve business goals.

• Expert level troubleshootingskills and capable of evaluating room layout and site planning.

• Requires superb customer andcommunication skills.

• Must be organized,self-sufficient and capable of working with little or no supervision.

• Qualified Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicantswill not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future foremployment in the United States.

• Individual must possess avalid Driver's license in good standing.

• Individual must be at least21 years of age to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

This job is/may be based in anystate nationwide. The base pay range forthis position is Min $57,190 - Max $67,200. The pay wage range shown is based on the jobposting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a widearray of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience,certifications, and location.
