Manufacturing Engineer

The manufacturing engineer will play a critical role in product development, quality testing and manufacturing scale up activities at our world-class manufacturing facility.

This position will be responsible for working with technical team members to operate state-of-the-art production equipment.

This individual will primarily work around high-speed automation/ manufacturing process equipment producing medical devices in a continuous operation environment.

Excellent technical skills are a vital asset for this position as it shall also be responsible for the site tooling and mold management program. The manufacturing engineer will be responsible for the creation, execution, and maintenance of mold and tooling database, monitoring of preventive maintenance logs at various external contract manufacturing/OEMs.

Relevant technical skills and knowledge will include 3D modeling, SolidWorks, continuous improvement training like Six Sigma or Lean, and Microsoft Office programs.

The manufacturing engineer will have a well-rounded experience handling tooling maintenance and specification development. should have strong program management abilities in order to effectively develop systems or oversee personnel. They should also have effective communication skills to interface with colleagues, customers, or vendors. Tooling engineers will need solid analytical abilities in order to evaluate customer requests and examine technical drawings to resolve design issues.

What You Need for this Position.

Prior manufacturing experience with precise web handling and rotary converting knowledge is required.

Experience working within ISO 13485 environments is a plus.

Ability to translate product attributes and outcomes to processing conditions and equipment parameters.

Knowledge in paper and rotary converting processes.
Individuals will require a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant field/ technical experience required field and at least 2 years of industrial work or a Masters Degree.
