Siemens Mobility (SMO) enable railway operators to shape today's and tomorrow's passenger and freight transportation - with trains, infrastructure, automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems as well as related services. That covers trams, light rail, metro, commuter and regional trains, high-speed and very high-speed trains.
We currently have an opportunity for a HR Head to take a key position within our SMO APAC - Australia and New Zealand business. We are looking for a key Professional who has considerable years of management/ Leadership experience and is willing and able to drive the People and Culture element of the Mobility organisation forward. This is an all-encompassing HR Management role responsible for Talent acquisition, People & Leadership development and performance.
As well as driving the organisations HR strategy, you will be hands on from an operational perspective where you will be responsible for all processes related to people and culture including the sign off and approval of contracts of employment, on-boarding and induction, employee relations, performance management, design and development of HR policies, implementation of HR systems and automation of processes, training and development framework, managing compensation and benefits, and driving engagement ensuring that the company's core values are upheld throughout the entire SMO organisation.
You will be responsible for ensuring the people practices across the business are aligned to achieve the business strategy and growth agenda whilst continuing to drive employee engagement.
To be considered you will ideally have:
- 7-10 years of experience in HR / HR Lead capacity.
- Be hands-on, proactive, organised and with he the ability to manage all operational elements of the role.
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law, Statutory obligations.
- Experience working with national engineering teams (desirable).
- Familiar with Industry benchmarks and HR best practices.
- Dealt with Organisational turnaround, Re-organisation and people effectiveness.
- Know how of HR systems and Operations.
