Global Mobility Specialist

We as a Global Mobility department are responsible to support the international workforce. GM handles a great variety of tasks related to international relocations of employees and administrative support of business trips. We ensure that travelers working abroad are performing their activities in the framework of local legislation.

An example is our support of travelers compliance with tax regulations in host countries. As part of the HR strategy GM is linked to the business strategy and provides service to different units and regions.

Our team in Prague supports cross-border businesses and travelers from EMEA region. Tax compliance specialists plays the role of an advisor to customers, facilitator of data collection and acts as a partner of tax providers and tax specialists.

Responsibilities And Qualifications

  • Monitor long-term and short-term assignees and manage related tax compliance requirements in various EMEA countries
  • Creation of income overview report based on the information from local payroll
  • This includes checking of travel tracker reports and ensuring that all payroll delivered reports are processable
  • Leading authorization and document collection process required for tax service completion
  • Ensuring that inputs are delivered to tax providers in a timely manner in line with their cut-off dates.
  • Prepare reports, analyse data and track global mobility tax compliance status
  • Cooperation with commercial project managers, local HR partners and tax providers
  • Deep partnership with Payroll team to ensure seamless delivery of expatriate compensation
  • You will work with other tax colleagues and case managers to continuously review the effectiveness of operational processes and make improvements
  • Mentoring case managers and supporting colleagues with tax topics and processes after training

Experience/Skills

To be successful in performing this role, the candidate will need to demonstrate strength and experience in a majority of the following areas:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Detail orientated
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint - strong Excel knowledge preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work competently with teams in other geographic locations
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and keen to learn and develop
  • Ability to appropriately manage confidential information
  • Knowledge of expatriate services, global mobility and taxis an advantage
  • Attracted to a dynamic business culture supporting the firm's broader growth strategy
  • Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements
  • Flexibility and ability to manage several tasks/priorities in a very fast-paced environment
  • Active knowlegde of both English and Czech (or Slovak) language at least at B2 level
