Marketing Program Manager

Shutterstock (NYSE: SSTK) is a rapidly growing and profitable tech company headquartered in New York City that powers visual creativity around the world.  We are currently seeking a results-oriented professional to join the Shutterstock team as a Marketing Program Manager.


You are a talented manager who is a trusted team member who understands process as well as how to champion the vision of the work. You will coordinate with creatives, content managers, product marketing managers, and development teams to produce marketing experiences across all Shutterstock business units.


The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for managing the flow and execution of these initiatives from concept through to launch. This includes team communication, managing resources, scheduling and production management, ensuring deadlines are met and that the team has what they need to do the best work. Day-to-day activities include:


  •         Drive the flow of marketing initiatives through the process from ideation to launch
  •         Communicate with all teams regarding progress updates and next steps
  •         Facilitate efforts between all teams involved with launching the marketing product
  •         Create, communicate, monitor and optimize workflows to ensure smooth delivery of all marketing work
  •         Constantly monitor work progress, troubleshoot any issues or risks and escalate as necessary


Required Qualifications

  •         Prior experience in a digital agency or digital products organization
  •         5+ years of interactive marketing program management or project management experience
  •         Solid track record of successful product delivery from start to completion
  •         Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  •         Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams in high-pressure situations


Preferred Qualifications

  •         Ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
  •         Strong web and technical knowledge as well as project management tools
  •         Solutions oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  •         Proficiency with Content Management Systems
  •         Proficiency with Google Apps, JIRA and Confluence
  •         Content creation and/or video production experience a plus
