Staff Accountant - Temporary, Part Time

Shopkick is looking for an accountant who lives and breathes balance to help shoulder the work of our lean internal team. This role will be a part-time, temporary position, beginning on October 24, 2017.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and enter corporate credit card transactions and perform Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations for US business
  • Process expense reports in Expensify, based on IRS and Audit guidelines and record in books
  • Assist  in completing all non-income tax related filings (1099s, property tax, etc)
  • Assist in the development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of internal controls policies/procedures
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is Plus
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Prior experience in mobile and/or consumer internet companies a plus
