Product Growth Manager, Shopify Plus

As a Product Growth Manager you will be responsible for growing the number of merchants successfully using our products. Shopify believes that a product is only as good as the value merchants gain from using it. Your impact won’t be measured purely on signups or installs, rather you'll be measured on the number of merchants successfully using the product (the very end of the funnel).

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the product lifecycle, a focus on making the biggest impact to drive growth, and have product management or growth experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of products for Shopify Plus merchants. Shopify Plus’ mission is to make commerce simple for high-volume companies like Tesla, RedBull, GE, L’Oreal, Mondelez, Kanye West, Subway, UPS and many more. You’ll work closely with the Shopify Plus product, sales, solutions and merchant success teams.

Improving activation and retention of our products will be your mission. How you do that will be up to you: leverage existing channels or create new ones to increase awareness to drive product adoption.

You’ll need to:

  • Be genuinely excited about solving customer problems
  • Have experience using data/analytics to measure the impact of your work
  • Be open to failure, and do things you might not be good at
  • Default to action and focus on the destination rather than the process of getting there
  • Work well with stakeholders from multiple disciplines

It’d be great if you had experience with:

  • At least one marketing channel
  • SQL, HTML, JS, CSS
  • Writing engaging stories
  • Full-time entrepreneurship
  • Building delightful tech products
