Inside Sales Representative

Shift is looking for a talented Inside Sales Representative to help us continue to scale our organization. We want someone who is high energy, hungry to succeed, and comfortable working in a rapidly-changing startup environment. Our Inside Sales Representatives play an important part of our growth and are responsible for connecting buyers with the car of their dreams by facilitating the entire sales process. Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads and respond to inquiries
  • Utilize different methods of communicating with potential buyers (phone, email, text), and complete accurate tracking of communications in our CRM system
  • Manage and overcome potential buyer objections
  • Manage, implement, and optimize campaigns to develop buyers and achieve goals
  • Be willing to help your team members meet their quota while juggling your personal plate
  • Build “cold contacts” (i.e., outreach, cold call and qualify potential buyers)
  • Work closely with Shift members across teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience in Lead Generation, Inside Sales or Sales Development roles at a technology company and/or company selling to consumers, with a track record of success
  • An energetic personality who can communicate clearly with people over the phone and other mediums
  • Organization and attention to detail is a must A self-starter who is motivated to meet goals
  • Enjoy working with all sorts of people; you treat everyone with the respect everyone deserves
  • Experience in the automobile industry is a plus, but not necessary
  • Did we mention you are really smart? Experience is less important than sheer intellectual horsepower, creativity, and organization skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
