At Sestra Systems, we are looking for an uber talented, devops engineer who gets excited by the prospect of working at an IoT start-up. As a devops engineer, you will have a key role working on our engineering team.
We need a devops engineer that is comfortable with:
- Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), MacOS and Windows
- Chef
- Docker
- PostgreSQL
- SCRUM
- GIT
- Jira
- CI/CD (gulp, Gitlab, etc)
- Building distributed, highly available applications
- AWS
- Cassandra is a plus
- bash
- python
- node.js is a plus
- c/c++ is a plus
- PHP is a plus
- Jenkins is a plus
- Slack is a plus
Our ideal candidate resides near Sterling, Virginia or is able to relocate, has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and due to the 24X7 operations of the business, must be able to work a flexible work schedule, may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
