Revenue Cycle Coordinator

Job Description:

This entry level, paid and fully benefitted position provides fast track, on-the-job training necessary to meet the minimum requirements for promotion and placement on a revenue cycle team within 9-12 months, depending on performance and available openings. The "revenue cycle" refers to all of the administrative functions required to bill health insurance companies or other responsible parties for hospital and medical professional services. The selected candidate will complete 8-12 short rotations on various revenue cycle teams, to gain a broad working knowledge and skillset. During these rotations the selected candidate will provide support, performs tasks, analyze data, and work on special projects to process patient accounts. Work hours, assignments, and performance outcomes vary depending upon the rotation. In addition to assigned tasks on rotation, performance outcomes also focus on building healthcare industry knowledge, implementing process improvements, contributing to teamwork, and improving quality.


Required Education/Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Two years work experience. An Associates Degree may substituted for the two years work experience requirement. Preferred: - Bachelors degree from an accredited four year college. - Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian or Somali.
