Physician - Per Diem

   BMT/HEME/ONC  NIGHT HOSPITALIST - JOB SUMMARY: Provides medical care for the Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology/Oncology patients on the Cancer Care inpatient unit  so that there is coordination of care with patients and attending physicians, and collaboration with nursing, medical and surgical subspecialty services, and ancillary health team providers.  Ensure the quality of all patient care and service, incorporating patient centered care and quality standards, and integration of these services with Seattle Children’s goals, vision and philosophy. Serves as the primary provider for BMT patients on night shift, working along side trainees (residents, fellows, etc.) with oversight from Acute Care Oncologist and BMT attending faculty.

Requirements

-MD Degree - Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics - Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s, and assigned medical center(s) Preferred - Experience in pediat
